Contrary to popular belief, scrapbooking layouts do not have to be overly complicated and time-consuming to be effective. In the end, a few stickers, a magical memory, and a few well placed embellishments really do the job in documenting those life moments. This summer is hectic for me with all three of my kids at home, and scrapbooking time is at a premium. So instead of always trying to re-invent the wheel, developing crazy new layouts, I am embracing the seven year-old girl inside and going back to my roots…STICKERS!
Check out my process for creating two new layouts in my June Traveler’s notebook using primarily Amy Tangerine stickers:
Really, I don’t know of any craft designer that quite captures the essence of summer fun more than Amy Tangerine. I love her craft lines, her sunny outlook on like, and the way that she is not afraid of color. So, her craft items are my go-to during these summer months. I had so much fun just perusing the sticker books and limiting myself to so few supplies. The process was streamlined, fast, and freeing! Do you ever work to simplify your layouts? What is your go-to method for streamlining your memory keeping? Let me know in the comments below!
