Clever Fox Planner Review & Giveaway

Hey friends!  A few weeks ago, Clever Fox Planners reached out to me about possibly reviewing one of their planners and hosting a giveaway on my YouTube channel.  To be honest, I was not really in the market for a new planner, but after researching their company a bit, I decided to take them up on their offer!  You can watch my review of the Clever Fox Planner and get the details on the giveaway over on my YouTube channel:

Clever Fox Planners are designed by a group of creative people who were not finding what they were looking for out on the planner market.  They offer a variety of planners that strive to combine function, reflection, and ways to make the planner your own.  Here are a few highlights of some parts of the planner that I am really enjoying and looking forward to using even more:

This planner walks you through guided questions that allow you to hone in on your passions and focus on the good parts of life.  The whole planner begins with a huge reflection section that is ideal for those looking to set some goals and maintain a positive outlook on life.  Throughout the planner, exercises in reflection are built in to your weekly planning, allowing you to continually re-evaluate and stay focused on your primary goals.

img_9841The monthly layouts are all grouped together toward the beginning of the planner, allowing for ease of long-term planning.  While the planner is super functional, it also provides space to make it your own by adding washi, stickers, or hand-lettering.  Normally, I prefer my planners organized by month immediately followed by weekly layouts, but having all the months together has caused me to look closer at long-term planning.  As a goal-oriented person, I think this will be a huge advantage!

img_9837My only concern when it comes to the Clever Fox Planner is in the weekly layout.  While I LOVE the goal-setting and reflection piece that is on the right side of the double page spread, I am a little concerned about the limited space for writing on each day.  As someone that loves to function off of To-Do lists, I did come up with a method that has worked thus far, but I will definitely re-visit how this weekly layout is functioning for me.  The pages in this planner are very thick and durable, allowing me to stamp with multiple inks, plus use stickers and gel pens with absolutely no damage.  Plus, the three ribbon bookmarks make it easier to keep track of multiple sections at once without having to add in additional tabs and bulk.

Perhaps what really sets Clever For Planners apart from others are the grid pages that are included in the back of this book.  I love seeing others bullet journal, but did not really find the time to be able to create all of those weekly and monthly spreads when I gave it a try.  However, I do enjoy keeping notes and bullet-journal style trackers.  So, the combination of the pre-printed monthly/weekly layouts along with the ample bullet journal pages in the back of this planner is wonderful!  You can see a few of the bullet journal pages I created above.  Once again, the paper held up to stamping and brush lettering beautifully.  I am so excited!
